How can we recognise health disinformation? How do we critically evaluate the health information we encounter online? And how can we strengthen young people's health literacy and digital skills?
As part of the Erasmus+ project Health-LIT – Health Literacy Education for Youth to Tackle Disinformation and Improve Well-being, the partnership developed the Health-Lit Learning Incubator (HeaLinc) – a learning programme consisting of five educational modules, available in Croatian and English, accompanied by learner and trainer guidebooks.
The modules cover the following topics:
🔹 Module 1: Understanding disinformation & health literacy
🔹 Module 2: Digital skills for managing disinformation
🔹 Module 3: Youth health literacy and wellbeing
🔹 Module 4: Strategies and practices to integrate health literacy programmes in youth work
🔹 Module 5: Organising public awareness campaigns on disinformation and health literacy
In addition to the theoretical content, the modules include interactive activities, practical exercises and Skills Lab sections, helping learners develop critical thinking and apply their knowledge in everyday life and youth work.
