Relentless attacks against Palestinians continue

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared the Israeli airstrike, which brought even more casualties to Gaza this Sunday, this time to the tent camp for civilians in Rafah, a "tragic mistake". At least 45 children, women and elderly people were burned alive in this night attack on Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces responded that the attack was aimed at "legitimate targets" with "precision munitions" and based on "precise intelligence". This military operation took place only a few days after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to stop its operation in Rafah.

The current number of people killed in Palestine is 36 050, but this figure has not been confirmed since the institutions that count the number of dead have been bombed and destroyed. Despite UN data that 500 to 600 trucks with humanitarian aid for Palestinians in need enter Gaza every day, today, for the first time in several weeks, 200 aid trucks were prepared to enter Gaza. As for the response of the European countries, Spain, Ireland and Norway will recognize the Palestinian state tomorrow.

As a peacebuilding organization, we condemn such inhumane attacks on innocent civilians and children and call for an immediate ceasefire. We sympathize with the families of the victims and their neverending suffering.
