In response to the escalation of intolerance and violence, the laureates of the "Krunoslav Sukić" Peace Award open a conversation about the defense of dignity – individual and common. Can we respect those who fought and those who built peace in the same conversation? Respect for the victim does not exclude respect for nonviolent resistance and compassion. How to appreciate courage and solidarity, and not celebrate war? How to preserve peace and humanity? How to hear those who remember or speak differently about the war? Disagreement does not have to be a threat, and defending the dignity of everything begins with listening.
