We are proud to announce the launch of the Health-Lit project – Health Literacy Education for Youth to Tackle Disinformation and Improve Well-being. The project aims to improve health literacy among young people (ages 14–29) and empower them to recognize and combat health-related disinformation while building digital resilience

The kick-off meeting brought together all partner organizations who will collaborate over the next two years to develop innovative educational programs, tools, and campaigns aimed at young people and youth workers in Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Italy, and Lithuania.

Project activities include:

  • An online survey among young people
  • Development of an inclusive and multilingual health literacy curriculum
  • Peer learning and training for educators
  • Creation of digital educational resources
  • Multimedia campaigns and awareness-raising webinars

The project partners are:

  • Centre for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights – Osijek (project coordinator)
  • Future Needs
  • Bureau for Integration and Social Innovations
  • FORMA.Azione
  • Giove In Formatica
  • Youth Association Mano Europa

Together, we aim to build more resilient, informed, and healthier youth communities across Europe.
