Since we still haven't received an answer to our demands related to the position of women in society from any political option, we bring you an analysis of 8 current political parties in the context of gender equality and women's rights.
We start with the HDZ - Croatian Democratic Union, and below you can read all the measures related to the position of women in society in the HDZ Program.
HDZ divided its vision of the future into 5 categories, while women are mentioned in any way in 3 of them (successful, vital, and just Croatia). Unlike other programs, a good part of the HDZ program refers to the previous periods, that is, the time when they were in power.
In the "Successful Croatia" category, they talk about how they will deal with women's entrepreneurship. On the other hand, in the category "Fair Croatia" in the subchapter dealing with justice, they promise to increase the number of women in supervisory and management boards. Then, in the part dealing with the fight against violence against women, several measures were highlighted, such as the education of judicial employees, intersectoral cooperation, housing for women and children victims of domestic violence, and others.
