The name of the project, from ERASMUS + programme, is hidden in a symbolic acronym –
BeWEEN, meaning “Be well and green when digital”. Action type KA220-SCH- Cooperation
partnerships in school which take place in school education field.
Project goals are to build capacity in „healthier and more responsible use of digital technology“ and to develop competences of proficiency levels up to 7 and promote „smart
habits“ for tech – smart high school teachers and students. Priorities are addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity and environment and fight against climate change. Aims of project are building awareness in High Schools by enabling teachers and students to safeguard themselves and the environment against a number of risks when using online tools and technological devices.
BeWEEN will deliver innovative practices and results related to safe and responsible use of
digital technology in the digital era, especially, in the transition to the digital classroom during the COVID-19 period and beyond. As to the outcomes, our project will develop and test learning tools which will empower high school teachers and students against health- and environmental- risks and threats through meaningful and comprehensive formal and informal education.nThe expected results are both tangible re-usable tools for high school teachers and students as well as increased teachers’ competence and skills required for distance teaching.
We have two expected project results:
Project result 2 will focus on designing and developing the BeWEEN Training curriculum
and contents.
BeWEEN training programme will include 2 modules: 1. Protecting health and wellbeing and
2. Protecting environment.
Project result 3 will focus on development of the educational mobile game and it will include
two main parts: 1. Technical development and 2. Content development.
BeWEEN will contribute for:
1. Improving the level of key digital competences and skills of High School Teachers, with
the
aim to transfer this knowledge to students.
2. Promoting and strengthening the European lifelong learning area, by contributing to the
dissemination, multiplication and replication of the use of European transparency and
recognition tools.
3. Impact on EU policies concerning the safe and responsible use of digital technology.
